Insert attachment to Database
Hello #PegaExpert
i have attachment file, i want insert that attachment to database
is there any way insert attachment file to database?

As per the design, there isn't any option to insert/store attachments to external DB other than internal Pega DB. Instead, the platform provides an option to save case attachments data to external repositories/CMIS like (Alfresco, Microsoft SharePoint, EMC Documentum).

Hi,
By design, if you attach any file to work object, it will be linked to work object as an instance of Link-Attachment class.
The Link-Attachment class is mapped to the pc_link_attachment table in Pega DB. Hence the actual attachment will be stored as an instance/record in this table.
