I have tried configuring a grid sourced by Report Definition. In the Report Definition I have included a property 'Category' with 'Dropdown' control and has local list values. Below is the screenshot for your reference,

In the section add the controls (RadioButton, Dropdown, Autocomplete) as per the requirement and refer the corresponding property. Create different properties for each control and save the results accordingly. Below is the screenshot for reference,

Note: I have referred the same property for all the controls for testing purpose hence getting same values for all controls.

At runtime the section appears as below,
