Infrastructure setup - Pega application vs Application servers.
We have a database with split schema and one application server to host one pega application. Now we are creating another independent application. For that in the database , another set of rules and data schema is getting created. However we want to use same application server. Proposed infrastructure is attached here.
Is this infrastructure possible in Pega? If yes, what configurations are required to be done in specific?

Hi Chandrani,
I would like to propose below suggestions in here.
1. Just create a new application within Pega under the same organization (but different div/unit) OR entirely a different organization name if it's independent. -- With this, you could reuse the same database schema, app server, no URL change. You could just add multiple JVM's based on the usage/load.
2. Create a new application by setting up new rules schema & data schema. Create a new application context other than prweb and data source pointing to updated rules/data schema(DB user) on your app server. (you may choose a new node or same node if usage permits for new application). The new context URL can be used by new application users.
