Include a scrollable section in another section
Hi All,
I am using Pega 8.1.
I have a requirement, where I need to include a section inside another section. The challenge over here is that the included section is of bigger size, so after I include this section(say on the right side and I am using a dynamic layout double), because of its longer content the screen gets a vertical scroll bar where as the section on the left side doesn't have much content, so while scrolling there is a lot of white space on the right side.
I need something like the section on the right side(included section) will only get a scroll bar.
And the total screen height should be the size of the section on the left side.
The included section can be like a widget of fixed size.

Hi Ankur, You could set the max-height of elements to be fixed size for the parent dynamic layout which has double (I guess you meant "grid inline double" format). To get the scroll for the included section use css overflow and set to auto. Here is an example how it would look:
The css you would need to override:
[data-node-id="<NameOfYourMainSection>"] .content-inline_grid_double > * {
max-height: 100px;
overflow: auto;
}
The first line makes all children of the parent dynamic layout to fit within the 100px height. You can tweak as per your need.
