Import Product zip into lower Pega version

Hi Team,

We are looking to export Product zip files from Pega 7.4 and import into Pega 7.1.6. Can anyone please let us know if this is feasible?

Hi Vignesh,

Pega platform is not forward compatible. You should not be importing a RAP from higher version of platform to a lower version. Even though there is no check on the import for this, you will likely run into issues either during the import or post import. And this is not a supported operation. You can do imports the other way though viz. export from lower version of platform and import into higher version.
