API to know the application version imported to Pega
Hi Team,
In a pega DevOps implementation I am planning to have a Deployment validation stage after the application import. In this stage I would like to ensure that the deployment was successful by verifying the deployed application is same as I imported.
Any inputs in this aspect would be greatly appreciated. I thought there should be a way to find out the version at the minimum and any information apart from this would be a bonus.
We would like to have this verification triggered from jenkins but not manual.

I can think of building of a service in Peag which will return the latest application version.
You will access this service from jenkins using web service URL.

I'm not sure which Pega version you are using, but Pega 7.4 contains a 'Quality metrics' API which outputs the following:
