image in data object
hi,
I got an assignment to create a library case type, where users can sign in and order a book. I want to be able to display an image of the book in my product listings.
I began creating a data object, with fields - book, cover(image), Description, price, quantity. Then i began adding records for book, description, and price. Just want to know how can i got about adding the images of the book cover?
I tried importing an excel sheet with a sample of 3 records including cover images, but the image did not show, just a little square icon.

You can store the image URL in the cover column in Data Type and use image control to show the images with this property source in the UI.

I inserted the image address(url) to the cover column, in UI i selected the cell property of the cover to an image, the default setting icon source is "standard icon", with options of property/image/external url (both these options require a link)
when i select property and reference the column "cover" no images are shown,
if i select the image or external url, insert a image url, that image is used within all of the book cover column.
how do i fix this?

Hi,
1. Are you going to have images as public URLs always?
2. If you can upload images as binary file and provide the path as "webwb/yourimagename.jpg" in cover column, you can select Icon source as Property and provide cover property name.

Could you please try with Image control and use Icon source as Property and mention the property, you should be able to see the image.
Please find the below screenshot for the Image control configuration.
Did you use the similar configuration, if yes please the screenshots of section and Data Type records.
