Identifying sync issues in Pega 722 version- Mobile hybrid client app

Can the Mobile hybrid client app (Pega 722) use below feature to identify Client and Server side sync issues?

If you are experiencing a very large volume of data synchronization failures, there may be some i/o and cpu impact on overall system performance.  In this case, we suggest that you turn the feature on for a period of time to collect the necessary data, then turn it off.  Generally, rate of occurrence is low and it can be safe to leave this feature on indefinitely so long as rate of occurrence remains small.
