I need pega exercise system for training purpose in my company. But I am not able to download the same since the installation of the application is blocked. Need guidance if the exercise system can be downloaded as .jar file.

Hi,

My company is working on pega technology. I need pega exercise system for training purpose in my company. But I am not able to download the same since the installation of the application is blocked. Need guidance to install the pega exercise system. Also please let me know if the exercise system can be downloaded as .jar file.

Hi Ankit,

I do not believe there are any plans to make a 32 bit version of Pega 7 Personal Edition.

Have you considered using Pega Express? It is hosted on the cloud so your OS will not be a factor:

Hi Rajesh,

I have been provided with 64 bit version of PEGA 7 Personal Edition. But my operating system is 32 bits hence following error I am getting :

BUILD FAILED

C:\Users\115008_PE72\pegaGuiInstallerTemp\build.xml:141: The following error occurred while executing this line:

C:\Users\115008_PE72\pegaGuiInstallerTemp\build.xml:19: Execute failed: java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "C:\PRPCPersonalEdition\pgsql\bin\initdb" (in directory "C:\Users\115008_PE72\pegaGuiInstallerTemp"): CreateProcess error=216, This version of %1 is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need a x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher

Can you please suggest, how to get 32 bit version of PEGA 7 Personal Edition.

Thanks for the confirmation. You are working with one of our esteemed partner.

Please go to https://collaborate.pega.com/ and register yourself using your TCS email id. Once you receive a confirmation from our PDN team, you can login back to PDN using https://collaborate.pega.com/ . PDN stands for Pega Discovery Network. Please go to Academy menu -> Choose My Self Study -> You would see course Library -> Choose By Product -> Choose Platform -> Choose System Architect essential I course -> enrol to the course.

After enrolling to the course you would be able to access the lessons in the course -> Please go through the first 3 to 4 lessons of the course in detail. This will guide you to download the Course material, lab exercise guide and Exercise Environment in the form of VM. Download procedure of the VM and usage of the VM is also mentioned in these lessons mentioned in the above lines.
