I have requirement to drag and drop the files in an area with some controls and fields

I have requirement to drag and drop the files in an Text Area and RTE. The requirement is similar to what we have in Outlook where we can drop the files anywhere in the Body and rest places it will give us the block icon. I tried exploring various options available in Pega for Drag and Drop but nothing matches this criteria.

Please help me with this implementation.

I don't think PRPC provides DnD for TextArea and RTE in OOTB way.

One way to achieve your requirement is writing the script with ondrop event on the textarea.

It is not possible OOTB and the suggestion offered by kakul is worth a try.
