http://9080 issue on VMWare Fusion
Hi,
I am facing an issue in the 7.3.1 VM found in Lead System Architect course. I am using the VM in VMWare Fusion v8.0 application in my Macbook.
Now, when I use it in my home network , the VM works perfectly and gives a properly formed URL when I start up the VM. However, when I took to a office network, I get the http://9080 URL when starting the VM.
I am using Bridged Networking mode, with AutoDetect option. Any pointers on what might be going wrong ?

This is likely due to your corporate network's configuration. You can try to use Host-Only instead, or disconnect from the corporate network.

I had the same issue on both VMWare and Oracle Virtual Box.
Here is how I fixed it.
Open the settings for the VM session.
Select Network
Change the network adapter to: Host-only Ethernet Adapter.
This worked for me on two different windows computers, that were both not displaying the IP address.
