Can you turn on PDC notifications in prod and subscribe the team to service failures, timeouts, and nodes not reporting, so you get an email as soon as 5xx starts spiking. In the Integration layer, check pxHTTPResponseCode after every Connect REST call; if it’s 500 or above, raise a high-priority incident case and send an email or Teams message to on-call. Also write a Log-Message so PDC captures the event. Add a tiny Job Scheduler that pings a known health URL every 1–2 minutes; if it gets a non-200, trigger the same alert flow. Subscribe to the Pega Cloud Status page for our region to get outage notices tied to AWS issues. Route PDC emails to a shared DL or PagerDuty address so alerts reach the right people fast. During an incident, auto-throttle or pause noncritical outbound calls to reduce noise and retries. Afterward, review PDC trends and set tighter thresholds for HTTP error spikes so we detect the next one earlier.
