How to update ckeditor version for rich text editor
Hi,
How can we update the rich text editor to the last version of ckeditor ? The version we see on their website manage mailto links very well and we would really appreciate this functionnality.
Has anyone updated it ? is it possible with an hotfix ?

Hi Marc, which version of PRPC are you using? RichTextEditor in Pega 7 is built on top of CK Editor. If you wish to upgrade to the latest version of CK Editor you many have to modify the scripts (like RULE-FILE-TEXT WEBWB PZPEGA_CKEDITOR_EXTRAS!JS). I would not recommend that you do this as this could have potential side effects. Is there a specific reason you would want to do this?
If you wish to use a certain specific plugin you could follow the guidelines listed on the CK Editor Plugin and reference the scripts on the harness itself.

Hi,
Sorry, didn't precise. We are on version 7.1.9. So we expected to have some version close to the last version of CK editor.
We went the functionnalities for mailto links.
Is the version of CK Editor updated on 7.2.0 ?

Both 7.1.9 and 7.2 use the CK Editor version 4.3.x.
Akshay Patange are there plans to upgrade to 4.5.x (latest CK Editor version) anytime soon?

Is there an easy way to update the version of CKEditor in Pega 7.1.8. We are planning to use the math jax libraries ( to write mathemetical expressions).
Can you guys package mathjax library in news version of CKEditor?
