Hi Dharanitharan,
Pega 7.2 uses the CK Editor version 4.3.x. The issue seems to exist even in v4 as per the bug. Once the behavior is fixed in CKeditor, the latest CK Editor version may be included into the upcoming versions of Pega i.e as an enhancement.

What is the version of PRPC you are using ?
RichTextEditor in Pega 7 is built on top of CK Editor. There is already a bug raised for alignment lost issue. Please check

Hi Mounika,
We're using Pega 7.2 version. I've raised as SR but the reverted as this is enhancement to product.

This is an issue with the CKEditor that Pega uses to implement the RTE.
At a high level there is no guarantee that we can maintain any formatting when copying and pasting from any given third party application. Your results may vary. And you may have a different level of success when you compare the behavior across alternate browsers as well.
For this specific use case you reported, it has already been reported in the past and evaluated by our SMEs as an enhancement.

But there is good news here on two fronts.
1) In a newer version of the CKEditor this scenario has been fixed.
2) I tested in Pega 7.3.1 and found that we must be using the later CKeditor version as the issue is no longer reproducible.
We cannot provide a HFix to upgrade your CKEditor as that is outside the scope of a HFix and updates to the CKEditor are only done by Pega through newer releases.
As discussed, I will close the SR at this time based on the referenced support article and findings described.
