Is there an easy way to update the version of CKEditor in Pega 7.1.8?
Is there an easy way to update the version of CKEditor in Pega 7.1.8. We are planning to use the math jax libraries ( to write mathemetical expressions).
Can you guys package mathjax library in news version of CKEditor?

Hi Faheemuddin,
I dont think we can upgrade the ckeditor version. (Others can comment). Also as per the below link,

mathjax is a plugin that can be added in your application. You can download the same from the above link. The process to do so is present in the https://docs-previous.pega.com/adding-plug-ins-rich-text-editor article.

There is no "easy" (or "hard" way for that matter) to upgrade third party components like that. Those component verisons are "baked" into the release of the particular Pega version you are on.
Changing or upgrading those components come naturally through the course of regular developement in newer releases where we can fully test them, etc.
There are very rare circumstances where there is a pressing, urgent need to HFix something which necessitates the upgrading of a third party component, but that is the exception, not the rule.
