How to save data into data type from a form via app studio
I have created a data type in app studio and have created a form through a case type and referring the data type properties in the form directly. On submit, I expect to get that data saved into the table but that is not happening? How to save data from a form to table using app studio?

As of 8.5,Saving data into data type from a form can not be done through app studio. We are trying to fix this exact gap in our upcoming release through savable data pages.
As of now the data type records can be managed only through records editor in data designer for app studio.
