How to restrict Query Runner from selecting from certain datatable tables for some developers
In Configure -> System -> Database -> Query Runner, we can write select SQL statements to query database tables. Is it possible to restrict some users from performing queries on some specific database table(s)? Thank you.

When you are running query internally it is not run in the context of your current operator.
All Pega checks is whether you have permission to run query runner or not.
If you restrict using table permissions, it would impact all developers who are connected through Pega.

@SamW0799 I think restricting database tables is going to be difficult, but the query runner audits who ran the query, if it ran succesfully, etc. It might be worth the effort to see which activity is doing the auditing and if this can be extended, of if a declare trigger can be used to signal queries and parse out database table strings to a logging tool such as Kibana.
