How can we restrict the Work Object creation from the create menu after reaching certain limit or count
We had a requirement from business that when end user try to click on create case menu to create any Work Object for a case type then we need to check if the count of Work Object created by specific user has reached certain limit and if reached we should stop creating the Work Objects under that user and should show a message in the UI that limit has reached.
Also we need to send an email for the admins tagged in that particular organization.
Any suggestions or approaches for the implementing this would be appreciated.

You can run a report where you check the count of pyID with filter pf pxCreateOperator and compare against the user's pyUserIdentifier. If it crosses the defined threshold then show the message.

We are good to check for the count but where to include the code since on login and on click of case type if count was reached then we should stop creating work object ID and also we should show the message. If you please elaborate it would be helpful.

Easier way would be to disable or hide the button with a when condition when the count exceeds.
