How to reset the postgres password
How to reset the postgres password. When I'm resetting the password I'm getting an error. Please see the attached screenshot. Help me on this.

Hi.to reset the postgres pssword you can check and modify the authentication configuration in the pg_hba.conf file located in the PostgreSQL data directory. Open the pg_hba.conf file and update the method to the following:
after updating restart the postgres server and try to login and update the password. once password updation is complete open the pg_hba.conf change the method to as is and save the file,and restart the server then login with new password.

Hey @AnkithaReddyR, I forgot the postgreSQL (pgAdmin 4) password to which I connected my Pega Personal Edition.
I couldn't reset the password with the above steps. You mentioned "after updating restart the postgres server and try to login and update the password"
May I know how to update the password here ?
After changing the pg_hba.comf file and restarting(closing & opening) the pgAdmin 4, I'm not getting any prompt to update the password.
Could you please check this !
