How to reopen a work item?

the requirement is to reopen a work object (already existing and is now resolved-completed) from a click of a link button positioned in a section. How to achieve this? i used the "Reopen" activity in work- with no success.

Have you tried configuring the actions tab of the button to call "Open Work By Handle" and pass the pzInsKey of the object you are trying to open? Or do you wish to return to a previous stage in the flow of that object?
