How to rename the class by using the class wizard?
Hello,
I want to rename the class by using the class wizard?
Example:
IJK-AAA-ZZZ-Work to ABCXYZ-AAA-FFF-Work
I want to rename the IJK class with ABCXYZ
I want to rename ZZZ with FFF
Please answer the following questions
What will happen to associated rules like properties, flows, activities etc…?
Does direct and pattern inheritance references the new class name. Will it get effected with rule resolution?
What will happen to the old class IJK-AAA-ZZZ-Work when it is updated with new ABCXYZ-AAA-FFF-Work?
Do I need to take up a backup before I run a wizard?

Note: Class rename works literally same as "Replace All" function in Notepad.

Hi Akhilesh,
If you want to rename a class you can use Refactor> Rename a class, which automatically makes changes to all the associated rules.
When you are using "Rename a class" wizard, you will notice there is a note in the wizard which notifies you to perform a full backup before running this utility, so i would suggest to take the backup before you are rename the class.
