How to refresh other section on click of row expand icon of repeating grid (master-detail).
I have configured Repeating Grid in a section (Please see attachment for configuration I did, PEGA Version 7.2)
Row Editing : Master-Details
Display Of Details : Expandable Row
I referred a flow action to display a “DisplayRowDetails” section on row expand.
The requirement is, on click of expand row icon of repeating grid, along with row expand, I have to refresh other sections as well which is part of same UI.
I tried “refresh other section” on “Click” action of repeating grid layout, but it didn’t get invoked on expand row icon click of repeating grid.
Is there any way to capture expand row event of repeating grid, that can be use to refresh other section?

Thank you for your response, can you please elaborate your suggestion a bit.
I am also looking for a place where I can use refresh “other section” that should get invoked as soon as user clicks on expand row icon of repeating grid.

No event on Action Tab (ex: 'Click', 'Enter' etc ) gets triggered on click of “expand/collapse” icon of repeating grid, is there any way to configure when rule in action tab to check if icon is expanded or execute refresh other section ?

This can be achieved in 2 steps.
1) You can use custom javascript to call a refresh other section.
2) Add a click event listener on the expand collapse icon so that the custom javascript is called everytime the icon is clicked.

Yes, follow these steps:
1. Unmark the "Display expand/collapse icon for each row" checkbox for the grid configuration. The default icons will be gone.
2. Add in your own icon section that has both the expand and collapse icons - refer UI gallery section pxExpandPaneIcon and configure actions accordingly.
3. Add in your own refresh other section actions to the same icons in the section.
4. Add in this icon section as the first column of your grid.
Follow the Expand Pane > Expand Single Row > Custom Icon example for the finer details.
