how to reduce Job Scheduler interval time less then one min for Multiple times a day

As per our current requriment we have to run backroung job for every 5 sec but in job schedular we have limitation of one minit interval time.
previously we can achive the same by using advanced agents. How we can achive the same in 8 version.
