how to adjust job scheduler to summer time automatically
Hi team,
We faced a problem that a job scheduler did not start on scheduled time right after summer time although it used to work successfully while summer time season and its timezone was set 'America_NewYork' then.
Which timezone should we select for a job scheduler to adjust summer time?
Or should we take another action to automate adjustment?
Or should we change it manually?
I know this may be a simple question, but I'm japanese and unfamiliar with "summer time" in terms of system actually.

Always use America_NewYork in NewYork. This will automatically adjust based on time differences in summer (daylight savings). Avoid the three character timezones such as EST (this only works when daylight savings is off, that is, during non-summer months).

I'm sorry, I meant Daylight Saving Time(DST) by 'Summer Time'.
Just setting 'EST' as Timezone will adjust to DST?
Then when should we use America_NewYork' as timezone?

When you say that the timezone is set to "America_NewYork", does that mean it is set for the application server or your operator locale?
Also, which Pega version you are on?

The both operator and the application server are located in New York.
And it is working correctly on 'EST'.
So now I want to know if 'EST' adjust its time to DST?
I think this is not a complicated question for people who lives in the region DST is aplicable for.
The version of PRPC we are on is 8.3.

As per my understanding, after avoiding three-character time-zone codes the issue should not reflect.
Anyhow, you can raise an SR with us to get this behaviour fixed.
