How to recover PEGA after system crash
Hello Team,
I have installed PE on my laptop. Suddenly because of some virus or updates my system got crashed, some applications automatically removed. I tried to start the pega server to export the products of code but the server is not starting. I have backup of the folder where everything was installed like tomcat, postgres etc.
Is there any way to recover my application by pointing to that folder?

Depending on needs we can think of different back up.
1. If its production, the code and the data both are important. So we need to do database backup daily/hourly.
2. For your scenario, as it is for practice purpose, only code is important(Guessing here). Then you can just take back up of the application and import it again to get all the rules.

Do you know the reason behind server not starting up? Can you share the PegaRULES log file?
If you have both tomcat and postgres backup, you can try pointing your tomcat to the backup postgres db and see how it goes.

Reason is my system got crashed, and I tried to find out the logs but logs are also not generated for it.
I have backup of the all folders like tomcat, postgres. I agree with your solution to point to postgres DB but I don't know how to proceed for it.
Can you guide for it?
