how to recover data table?
Hi All,
i created one data type and i gave parent class as (ss-fw-data-test) and my new data type class as (ss-fw-data-test-example).
that parent class consists of one data table.
after creation of data type ,i cannot see any data table of parent class,
could you let me know what could be the issue .
is there any way to recover it?

Please try below steps:
Click on Designer Studio > Application > Development > Recent Actions.
Open the Rule named "EditList" Applies To parent class (i.e.Data Table).
Update its availability as "Available".
NB:
As a best practice, do not create a data type inheriting from data table.
If Data Table is converted to Data Type then new data types can be inherited from it.

Hi Sudheer,
What version of Pega are you using? Can you elaborate on your statement about not being able to see any data table of parent class? Does it not appear in the Data Explorer pane?

If "data explorer pane" is different than "designer explorer - > data model - > data tables - > data tables", I'd try that too, as I can't tell without some snapshots exactly what you mean. /Eric

Thank you for the answer.
i just ran data type wizard( by giving data table class as parent class) as previously explained in my question.
it created some rules like "List view" and "Edit list" in higher version.
but edit list,list view rules are already present in lower version used to display this existing data table.
i just deleted "List view" and "Edit list" rules from higher version,created by wizard.
now i can see data table in Data Model->data table.
