how to read csv files from external path without using file listener
Why it is required not to use File Listener. File listener is the best way to achieve this. But just in case, you have a license issue or something, first I need to know what would be the action after the import. At this moment I assume that, you will just be populating the data to persist in Pega. If that is the case, you may use the activity (or customize it by saving it in your application with a different name) pxUploadCSVResults. This activity is used once you try to populate the rows of a Data Type by importing a CSV file. I think your functionality might be achieved in the same way.
I have a requirement where I need to read data from a CSV file with two columns which is placed in the server (C://xxx) and then save the data of one of the column from the CSV to a DB table. I have tried using MSOParseExcelFile, it gives error saying the " the template and file doesn't match". pxUploadCSVResult doesn't have parameter to pass the location. Can anybody suggest any approach to achieve this requirement.
