How to provide access to all users on system to access copy/edit/delete reports category.
Hi,
We have a requirement to provide access to all users on system to access copy/edit/delete reports belongs to standard, private and shared category. OOTB functionality is restricting users to access categories created by other access group users and only users who has developer access or who has allow rule checkout access are able to perform all operations.
we can go by providing allow rule checkout access to the users, but it is not good to give this access to production users.
any thought on this will be helpful and do you see any problem if we provide allow rule checkout access to the users?

Hi Mohammad, Please try below mentioned step.
1. Open your report definition and click on Data Access tab and scroll down
2. There will be option for privilege under security set privilege to report definition.
3. Map that privilege to all access group(via Access of Role to Object ) to whom you want to grant access then all the users who are part of that access group can perform activity on report definition.

HI Sonir, Thanks for your reply.
I am not looking for a particular report definition. If you go to reports tab of the case manager portal, you will see all the public categories and copy/add category and report. there i want to give copy/edit/delete access to all users irrespective of their access group.

Hi
You can change Access Group level settings for report definition , then particular operator can do that activity on case manager portal.
Go to Designer Studio->Record-> Security-> Access of Role to Object then select access group for operator who has case manager portal access.
Then click on Security tab there will be setting for each of the section with some numerical number like 1 to 5 (You can set as per environment level requirement eg. 5 for Production)
There will be option for Open rule , Delete Rule and Modify Rule(As per below screen shot) , set the value there and save the changes and then try it .
