How to perform Server Side validations. I have to validate data available on server DB

Can someone please help me to perform Server Side Validation.

Scenario: There is a Database at the server which got customer’s mobile no. and email address. I have to validate that the Mobile no. and Email address provided in the form is matching with Database entry or not.

the table is created on SQL  Server DB. In my pega section I have a mobile number field. I want to validate that the mobile number is given in the field should be validated at server side. if correct then proceed else generate error message.
