How to disable the gelocation in the Pega server side?
***Edited by Moderator Marissa to update categories***
Hi,
Thanks for posting on PSC.
There is an OOTB "When" rule i.e "pyGeolocationTrackingIsEnabled".
And its present in below AppliesTo classes:
@baseclass – False by default.
Data-Portal – True by default
Perform local change to fix this issue:
1. Open the pyGeolocationTrackingIsEnabled When rule (Data-Portal class).
2. Save As the rule to your application's ruleset.
3. Change the When condition to always return false (for example, "true != true").
4. Click Save.
Hope it helps you, kindly notify by marking this post as answered if it does.
Regards,
Asif
Hi Rama,
I would suggest you to look into the PDN help to achieve this functionality based on your Pega version, for example if you are using Pega v7.2.2 then you can look into Disabling geolocation tracking.
So based on your version check in the PDN documentation for the help regarding this feature.
Regards
Mahesh
Hi,
In the explorer panel of Designer Studio, click Cases and then click the name of a case type.
Click the Settings tab.
Click General.
Clear the Enable geolocation tracking check box.
Click Save.
