How much time does Pega allow for an activity to run?

Hi all,

What's the maximum execution time for an activity? If I have an activity that contains a wait step before executing later steps, at what point will Pega kill off the activity in the thread?

@GiridharanVenkatThanks for your response. I've taken a look at this page: https://community.pega.com/sites/pdn.pega.com/files/help_v63sp1/Content/definitions/t/timeouts.htm. There are default values for the requestor timeout but these can be updated.

  • Default Service timeout: 600 seconds (10 minutes) - Updated in Dynamic System Settings
  • Default Interactive users timeout: 3600 seconds (1 hour) - Updated in prconfig.xml file
