How to manually rerun Job Scheduler that didn't end successfully
Hi,
I know we can monitor Job Scheduler status from Admin Studio, but if Job Scheduler fails for whatever reason, is it possible to manually start the job from this screen? I only see "Tracer" option, but maybe this is because this job ended successfully? I do not know how to forcibly fail it, but what kind of error can Job Scheduler detect?
So my question is:
(1) If it is possible to manually start Job that did not end successfully.
(2) What error can Job Scheduler detect (ex. Activity error)?

Hi Cloe,
Particular Job we cannot manually start but we can restart the Job scheduler if it fails and is not running in the Background. This can be done by clicking Override option which will disable the Job scheduler. Once disable click on Revert again then the Job scheduler will be enabled. Default Job schedulers that are provided by Pega cannot be stopped manually. Those can be stopped and started using Pega API's.

Yes if you stop Job Scheduler you can start it manually.
However, Job Scheduler doesn't stop by itself when it fails. What customer wants is, if job fails, it should stop by itself. Administrator should be able to review the exception, and may start it manually from Admin Studio. I think this is a very simple requirement but product does not seem to have this feature.
Any comment?
