How To Integrate Splunk With Pega?

Hi,

I am a doing preparation for Splunk certification and have been assigned a task to configure Pega with Splunk.

And I wanted to know how to create Pega with Spunk, however I attempt many trials but it is now working.

it's saying- Check connectivity, Even there are no firewall rules or other network restrictions in place,

 I also tried this method https://support.pega.com/question/splunk-integration-pega78-0 but it is now working.

Hello @James Millere

For integrating Pega with Splunk:

  1. Ensure Splunk Universal Forwarder is installed on Pega.
  2. Configure Pega logs for Splunk format.
  3. Check Splunk settings for correct log ingestion.

For "Check connectivity" error:

  • Re-check URLs and port numbers.
  • Confirm Splunk Forwarder is running on Pega.
  • Use telnet or nc to test port connectivity.

If the Pega support method failed:

  • Check for updates/patches for both platforms.
  • Examine Pega and Splunk error logs.
