How to implement circuit Breaker Breaker
Requirement:- Application is heavily dependent on web services and we have ask to implement a circuit break which will break or discontinue web service call after certain number of failures for specific time frame and retrying after certain define time. How can be implement this in PEGA

I haven't done this myself - and I'm just thinking off the top of my head; so don't take any of this as best-practice....but just in case it gives some ideas:
Maybe you use a DATA PAGE to store the state - so probably a timestamp (when the circuit break cut in, when to re-enable etc) and a status ("up","down") etc
Then in your calling Activity - use a WHEN 'pre-step' referencing the Data page on the step where you call the CONNECTOR to skip around if the circuit breaker is active.
You *might* even be able to use the Data Page's built-in 'reload' strategy as the basis of the timeout - but not sure that is a good idea or not.
The things I'm note sure about here:
- The best way to update the DATA PAGE - in order to activate the Circuit Breaker.
- The best 'scope' for the page - does it need to apply to all nodes in the cluster etc?
