How To Hide Assignment View In Constellation
Hello Team,
Is there any way we can completely hide the assignment view which we are having in review screen in Constellation. Attached screenshot for reference
We want case life cycle chevron, just assignment details view needs to get removed (or) anyone aware how we can customize the assignment list based on business logic.
We are using pega 23

I highly recommend testing with end-user portals with correct access groups instead of admin or author AG.
1. Wait shape - Uncheck the option (User can continue on the Wait Shape)
2. Go button - If the case is routed to a different user, then Go button will be hidden by default. Please ensure that the behaviour is validated with the end-user access group with appropriate security restrictions.
I agree with Marco's comments.

@Gunasekaran Baskaran this question was posted a few days ago - please give the forum SME's some time to find your question.
Did you check the available documentation?
Constellation taxonomy > Constellation work area
What's new in Constellation UI > Ability to fix broken Assignments
It looks like in the Constellation work area, the case life cycle chevron display is optional and can be removed in the full View configuration.
However, the assignment details view is a part of the Constellation UI and it seems cannot be completely removed. You can customize the view by configuring a Full Page View.
@Sam Alexander please can you provide some input?

Correct, right now, the Assignment widget is built-in to the case view. We have a backlog item to consider offering a configuration to remove it, but we need more information on the use case so that we can ensure this highly valuable for many customers.
Can you tell me more: What does the workflow do, and who is the persona? Why is the assignment widget not needed? Is this for a "self-service" use case? For self-service use cases, I can see value in removing this b/c maybe you're just collecting information in a screenflow, like "change credit card" or something like that.
I might have an immediate solution for you , but I'd like to talk about the use case a little more.
Can you send me an email? My sam dot Alexander at pega dot com.

I have dropped email to you with the business requirements. I have mentioned the same below with this comment also. Please provide your input on this.

We should not show the wait shape assignment details.
-
For the Go Button visibility, we need to place the custom business logic.
-
We need to show different information about child case instead of OOTB information.
-
We want to hide the unassigned case information.
Thanks In Advance!!!!

@Gunasekaran Baskaran Also something to consider. If you don't want to see the assignments, normally it is because you are not allowed to perform them right? So with privileges you should secure the assignments so only people with the right role can perform these assignments. That is not a UI issue, but it is part of setting-up your security.

Hi Marco, I just used a lab instance of 24.1.1 and putting privilege to a flow-action doesn't hide the flow action on the Assignment list when the operator doesn't have the privilege. It doesn't even hide the go button. To hide the go button I need to configure the canPerform access When rule. Not sure whether this is a BUG or not. We definitely need a way to be able to configure:
1. Hide/Show flow-action on the Assignment list
2. Configure what info is shown for each assignment.
The list of assignment and what is shown for each assignment on the case Review view is almost required in every projects I worked on.

@RameshSangili , @Gunasekaran Baskaran :
Couple of queries on this:
Using access role, we can control not to show Go button in assignment view, how do we hide assignment list for wait assignments as i can see assignment list generation logic is part of final rules and no extension point to have business logic to hide assignments. For example, if my flow name is "wait for response", remove from the list.
