How to generate a signing certificate for a custom mobile app? We do not intend to host it on play store, but install directly as an apk.
Please do not share these links. These just define the steps needed to be preformed on platform side not describing the actual steps to generate the file that needs to be uploaded.

You will need a .keystore file to upload as a certificate during app signing from Pega platform.
The .keystore file can be generated from keytool available in the jre bin folder with command:

The .keystore file can be generated from keytool available in the jre bin folder with command:
keytool -genkey -v -keystore MyInternalApp.keystore -alias MyAppName -keyalg RSA -keysize 2048 -validity 10000
Keytool prompts you to provide passwords for the keystore, provide the Distinguished Name fields and then the password for your key. It then generates the keystore as a file called MyInternalApp.keystore in the directory you're in. The keystore and key are protected by the passwords you entered. The keystore contains a single key, valid for 10000 days. The alias (MyAppName) is a name that you — will use later, to refer to this keystore when signing your application.
