How to find which step in activity/Data transform or any other rule setting a property to blank
Hello All,
We are having a property in work page. This property is referenced in many places. We tried to find , any activities/Data transforms are having remove action. We could not find it.
There are some cases, the value is reset blank from some actual value.
We are able to see in history log. The memo added like ChangeTrack_Remove PropertyName ABCD to ""
This memo was added by pyTrackSecurityChanges.
Any body know, how to find which exact step causing this property value remove action.
We tried to get current flow name from history log. But no clue.
Thanks
Alagar

Can you see from the history log if a particular user is associated with the change? If you are able to reproduce could you try running the tracer to identify where the value change?

Yes, you can use the "Watch" option on the tracer or create a Declare OnChange rule for this property to gather further information.

Well yes, this is why I was talking about a Declare OnChange rule. You will not have to care about the replication scenario. The system will automatically trigger the rule anyway

Hello,
To tracer declare on-change we need know when it will change so that it will come in tracer. We dont find circumstance. In Audit log, it was happening in different & different places.
Thanks

No you don't have to. I'm not talking about the tracer. I'm saying try working with a declare OnChange on your incriminated property.

Hello,
We tried with onChange on target property. We could not find steps, when exactly the property is set as empty. In onChange activity, we write log- It is showing current flow name.
Every time, we are getting different flow name. We want to know the exact activity/Data transform/UI action setting this value to empty.
Thanks

Well,
It looks like a difficult task to analyse where this property has been reset to blank on your custom configuration. So maybe the best approach would just be to use the Declare Onchange in order to reset it to the original value?

Is field level auditing configured for that property?
