How to find the nearest date for a day ? Give me some suggestions please.

Eg: If Day=Monday then i want to find any one nearest date falling in the same day within that month.

Hello,

For example, if today's date is 1st of April(i.e. Saturday) then you need the nearest date that should be Saturday within April i.e 8th of April(Saturday)

This is what you are looking to achieve?

Conflict: In another example if the current date is 27th of April(i.e. Thursday) then the nearest date which falls within that month of Thursday doesn't exist, in this case how it should behave?
