How to export Datagridview component results to Excel
Hi Community
I am trying to export the result of a DataGrid to an excel file using Pega Robotics Studio. The datagrid source is from an SQL query result (from the SQLQuery Component)

You'll have to change the data type from datagrid to string to parse it correctly into excel. You'll probably need to use a datagrid in a windows form as an intermediary.

Is the DataGrid interrogated as a control within your adapter? There would be a property called DataTable on the DataGrid control where you can get access to the DataTable object from the DataGrid. The Excel connector has a method called ImportData that accepts that object. That would allow you to essentially copy from one to the other.

The DataGrid is displayed within a Windows Form that I created (Main_UI.os) which is populated by an SQL query
Looking at the Property of dataGridview object, I am unable to see any DataTable property.

The SQL Component has a method to access the DataTable object of the results. Use that to populate both your DataGridView and the ImportTable method in Excel.
