How to escape single quote in Report definition filter

I am having an issue in Report definition. I am searching for a property LastName = O'Connor. This is being used in autocomplete.

autocomplete escape the character so the parameter report definition runs with is O'Connor. This does not work when it tried to query the result set.

Anyone have any idea how to escape/unescape in autocomplete and/or report definition to bring back the result set ?
