How to dynamically change background color of cell that is part of Repeating Grid?
Hello,
I'm trying to implement a requirement that is basically changing background color of a cell dynamically according to related property's value as it shown in "Kod" column of below screenshot.
For example, when "Kod" value is 2 for first row, i need to change background color of first row's first cell to red.
For example , when "Kod" value is 3 for third row, i need to change background color of third row's first cell to yellow.
Is it possible to accomplish this via writing conditions to somewhere or do you have any other suggestions?

Hi,
You can apply inline style to the row. Example:
Select the whole row and add the inline style <pega:when name="WHENRULE">color: red;</pega:when> as inline style
but apply it to the entire row

Hello,
Repeating grid is dynamically created with using datapage's data in our case. I added a below code to inline style of first cell because i only want to convert numeric values of related property to background color of first cell of repeating grid.
<pega:when test=".YourPropertyName == '2'">background-color: yellow; </pega:when>
<pega:when test=".YourPropertyName == '3'">background-color: red; </pega:when>
<pega:when test=".YourPropertyName == '1'">background-color: green; </pega:when>

Hi Vivek,
You can define a custom CSS class/stylesheet and keep these when condition there and use this custom CSS in the layout or stylesheet in harness/userworkform. This will not give the guardrail warning.

can we apply background color for a particular column in a repeat grid without using inline style?
I tried using css, but it it applying for whole grid couldn't use for particular column.
