how to disable hyperlink in a step of case type which can be viewed by clicking on show all steps.
On clicking of 'show all steps' the case stages and steps gets populated. The current step is displayed in hyperlink and while clicking of it, user can start working on it. This is causing security issues, since the case is not assigned to the user however clicking on the hyperlink they can start working on it. The same issue happens when the case is assigned to some WB. Please suggest if there is a way to disable the hyper link.

Disabling or Hiding a link that opens an assignment is not enough from security stand of point. You must configure ARO of Assign-Worklist and Assign-Workbasket class accordingly. I remember there is an OOTB access when rule "canPerform" defined under Assign- class, and it can be overridden per your requirements.

CanPerform worked for me (tried long back). Can you try configuring security tab on required flow action (as a work around)?
