How did the Autosave of the text box content was done on pega 7

The Pega Mesh text area has auto save feature .this box will save the content automatically.How is this done ?

is this OOTB pega feature ?

Yes, Mesh is built by Jive community software. Several ALM tools are part of our Mesh Framework. No dependency with PRPC.
