How to create custom controls in pega
How to create custom control and how to call in it pega for better usage

Hi,
You can find a list of controls instances using the following path:
Records Explorer > User Interface > Controls
From here you can open existing controls or create new ones.

You can create a Custom control by performing "SaveAs" of the existing control which you would like to modify or you can create a new control by navigating to Records Explorer > User Interface > Controls > Create
Switch to "HTML" Tab of the control configured and deselect the checkbox "Auto-generated" and generate your own code in the desired format as per your business requirement.
You can refer the same in the sections by drag and drop of OOTB controls available from the list and change the control format from the cell properties. Below is the screenshot for reference,

Hello,
A control is just another really. You could create a brand new one or save as an existing. What Pega version are you using?
