are you trying to initialize a un-typed page list property, like code-Pega-list.pxresults?

One way to learn how to do it is to first do it with an activity step, then click the coffee cup icon or "actions - > java" to see what java is generated.  You can copy-paste the result into a java step and then add trimmings to make it work exactly the way you want.   /Eric
