How Convert email attachment to binary form to Send into API's(Connect-REST)
Hi All,
I have a requirment to send email attachment (this can be .msg, .pdf, .jpg ect...) to 3rd party system via service API.(.msg format is actual requirement)
To send Email attachment thought API,s Internally we need to convert attachment to binary stream to pass to target 3rd party API.
Is there any way to convert attachment to Binary form?

if you can parse the email and get the attachments onto a File object, as explained in below article.

After parsing and creating the attachments object, which contains list of file objects. Use below code to convert to binary or base64 format.
PRInputStream inputStream = null;
inputStream = new PRInputStream(file);
bytesArray= org.apache.commons.io.IOUtils.toByteArray(inputStream);
strFileData=Base64Util.encodeToString(bytesArray);
