How to combine two report definitions data and show data on one datapage
Hi,
I am looking to combine Report definition 'A' of Assign-Worklist class and Report definition 'B' of Assign-Workbasket class using sub-report. 'A' is my main Report definition and 'B' is my sub-report. I don't want to apply any join condition and would have to get data from sub-report and append the results to main report and show the data on Data page.
How can I achieve this?

Hi Mohammad,
If you want to display the data of 2 different classes(tables) into a single page, you need to match the records of 2 tables with some common condition then only mapping is possible.
For example,
TableA:
id name age
1 mahesh 28
2 vijay 26
TableB:
name salary address
vikash xxx bangalore
vijay xxx hyderabad
mahesh xxx bangalore
Note: Now in order to map the row of above two tables then you need the common criteria which is available in both the tables, else we can't judge which row of the second table need to map with the first row the first table.
So i don't think your requirement is feasible to achieve.

Hi Mahesh,
If I include a common criteria, I will only get one row as my result. But, my requirement is get the matching 2 rows from both the tables and display as two records in result using report definitions. I am trying all possible joins, But I am not getting 2 records.

Basically join will help you to merge the row's of two tables into a single row with all the columns of table1 and table2 or only columns from left table or only columns from right table, etc. But i don't think you can get the row of table1 and row of table2 in your resultset with 2 rows.

my requirement is to get the some work list and work basket assignments to D_pyUserWorklist data page, how can I achieve in this case? any solution would be appreciated. I thought of using activity to load data, but I don't want to miss any OOTB functionality, as I am going to use this for Offline Mobile App.

were you able to find out a solution for the above requirement, we also need to build something similar which includes merging of two or more Report Definitions.
