How to clear date field when "Allow text entry" is disabled
We have few date fields on UI with calendar picker and disabled the allow text entry (this is to restrict user from entering invalid characters/format). This is preventing user from blanking the value once selected. Other support articles talk about having a Clear option in calendar picker but i do not see it in Chrome or IE.
Is there a way to clear date field in this particular scenario?

HI Saurabh,
This is per Pega's design.
Please check Designer Studio -> User Interface -> UI Gallery -> DateTime Navigate.
There are editable and read-only modes.
For "No Typing", user can select the date from the calendar picker but user is not allowed to do modification (including clear field).

Hello Susan, thanks for your response.
But why should there be a restriction on clearing the field when the field is not mandatory? Seems like a potential enhancement.
