How to check common property value between 2 page list
Hi Team,
I have a scenario where I need, on access when rule, to check if 2 different Page Lists have a common value.
Is there a function that could be used ?
Scenario example:
- 2 page lists A an B
- We want to check if A(i) pages propertyY have common value with B(j) pages propertyZ.

Not sure of any OOTB function. Brute-force method could be iterating over the lists and compare. IsInPageList function could reduce your iterations.

You may create a function yourself as below
Iterator it = PageList1.iterator();
Iterator it2 = Pagelist2.iterator();
while (it.hasNext()) {
ClipboardProperty next = (ClipboardProperty) it.next();
ClipboardPage nextPage = next.getPageValue();
ClipboardProperty firstProp = nextPage.getIfPresent("CommonValue");
while (it2.hasNext()) {
ClipboardProperty next = (ClipboardProperty) it2.next();
ClipboardPage nextPage = next.getPageValue();
ClipboardProperty secondProp = nextPage.getIfPresent("CommonValue");
if ((firstProp!= null) && (secondProp!= null))
{
if ((firstProp.getStringValue().equals("CommonValue")) && (secondProp.getStringValue().equals("CommonValue"))) {
retValue = true;
break;
}
}
}
return retValue;

Indeed, an OOTB similar function does not exist so custom one need to be created here.
