How to add privilage to access group
Hi All,
We need to optimize properties for reporting, but couldn't able to find the optimize for reporting in Actions Menu.
Going though Pdn, got to know we need to add this privilage SchemaPropertyOptimization to our access group, for that option to appear
In access group we have portals and Access roles, not able to see where to configure this privilage. Hope we need to add this privilage to access roles we have added in the repective access group.
But as we have multipls access roles configured we need to add this privilage to all the access roles in that access group or any otherway , please share any thought on the same.
Regards,
Surya

Hi @SuryaYanamandra: It's not necessary that you need to add the privilege to all the roles. If any of the roles has the privilege, it should work.
Please see this for more details on property optimization.
Thanks.

@SuryaYanamandra the privilege you have mentioned is already been included within PegaRULES:SysAdm4 access role Name. You just need to add this role to your access group if you want to add this privilege and try.
You can check @baseclass ARO of that accessrole for the above privilege.

@Anoop Krishna Yeah Anoop, we have that Access role PegaRULES:SysAdm4 added to our access group, but still optimize for reporting option is not available.
Our Application is built on PegaSI framework, so I've added the Framework class to the access role and added the priviege, But still no luck
Neither Framework nor Implementation layer level properties, we are not getting the optimize for reporting option

@SuryaYanamandra okay, it should have worked. Can you please add PegaRules:DatabaseAdministrator and try again.

@Anoop Krishna yeah added this role to our access group, still we ar not able to see. . Have one doubt, Few classes from Framework layer are Abstract classes, and we don't have test connectivity, May I know whether this is one of the reason that we are not able to see the optimize option.

@SuryaYanamandra right, when you optimize a property, a dedicated column will be created for that column in the table, that is table is needed to have the column. If its abstract class, that means not mapped to any table.

@Anoop Krishna okay, we have many RD’s in framework layer which were created with in abstract classes and concrete classes (for concrete classes also we are not able to see the optimize for reporting option after adding the above mentioned roles and privileges), having performance warnings, for this any idea how we can justify to improve guardrail score and performace

@SuryaYanamandra for concrete class properties you should be able to see the optimize option. After adding the role have you logged out and logged in?
